Obsession: Bright Florals!

So the new H&M Garden Collection just came out. My closest H&M store is a ferry ride over.. =( I decided to check the line out on H&M's site instead. The magazine ads have been taunting me for awhile now, what with the beautiful bright dresses and delicate floral designs... I just couldn't stand it any longer! I was pleasantly surprised with a lot of the pieces from this collection (note: this is only from what I can see online, I have not actually held these items in my hands, as I would prefer to!). Anywho... take a look for yourself. I'm sure you will fall in love with these pieces as well! I'm thinking a trip to Vancouver for a birthday dress? ;) By the way... the collection is very affordable (but isn't everything from H&M?!), ranging from around $15-$60.

I especially love the bright blue ruffled dress, the way the ruffles cascade along the sides... it's pretty darn breathtaking! I'd love to try that on! And that vibrant floral printed dress? Such a gorgeous shape to it! (Yes, I'm a sucker for skirts and dresses with pockets, but aren't you?) I have also been on the hunt for some really cute shorts. These are pretty simple with just a couple of ruffles. I'm looking for shorts that look like a skirt from the front, but SURPRISE!.. THEY'RE SHORTS! Know what I'm talking about..? No? I'll try to find a pic for my next post. Cannot think of the name but yeahh... and they are SO not skorts!

True Winners... at Winners!

Just about to call it a night but thought I'd advise you all... if your looking for some great spring/summer clothes, that are not only affordable (like, ridiculously affordable!) but also designer, then go check out Winners! All you Canadian gals know what I'm talking about right? ... Discounted designer items for a great price. Today I found a French Connection trench for $30 and a peplum dress for only $20! They have a lot of amazing stock in right now. Everything you need for spring, from denim (shorts, dresses etc.), to dresses and of course your everyday essentials like tees and shorts. Another really random but amazing item I found? (But sadly, could not afford...) was a BADGLEY MISCHKA bag. It was discounted from an original in store price of over $400 to $207. Thats more than fifty percent off! If I wasn't supposed to be saving up for school etc, that bag totally would have been mine! Also, I really had a tough time letting go of a gorgeous reptile like BCBG hobo bag. It was only $70 but like my cousin pointed out... I still have bags in my closet I have yet to use. And being stuck in a deli 5 days a week doesn't exactly let me switch up much of my clothing or acessories =(

Well that's about all I had to share today. Another great day spent with family, shopping and a little driving lesson in between. Hope you had a great Sunday as well. I will most definately be incorporating my new items into outfits soon to share with you all! xoxo

Spring Neutrals

Check out these latest looks from clubmonaco.com! Club Monaco is one of those stores I always walk into and leave depressed because I wish I were fortunate enough to own each and every piece in the store. I must try to save and buy just a few of these fabulous pieces! The great thing about Club Monaco? Their pieces are pretty much seasonless, no matter how you wear them they are classicly modern.
My lustworthy items are: the trouser like capri pants, beautiful flowy tunic, black braided or woven belt, gorgeously detailed green trench, and of course every woman needs a classic black walking short!

Happy Shopping ;)

Fave Oscars Dresses!

I must admit I'm not the biggest Miley Cyrus fan... but I do love this Jenny Packham dress she wore to the Oscars! It is definitely age appropriate and truly makes her glow. Also... I'm a sucker for the corset like top ;)

Woot! Gotta love this Canadian girl. She totally rocked this dress, it exudes springtime. She looks great, girly and confident.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress... true masterpiece. Marchesa=LOOOVVEE!

Ok, so a lot of people out there have been dissing Zoe's dress choice, but when I first saw it, I loved it. It's definitely a bold choice but she looks amazing.

Love the dress, but would have preferred a brighter colour for Ms. Stewart. Her newfound "edgy" look works most of the time, but I believe variety is the key to her look. (i.e mizing up her edgy do with a girlier frock=perfection!

Don't think much explanation is needed here, the dress is gorgeous, and so is she.

So... I think this is my number one fave oscars dress. It's elegant, girly, carefree, yet very sexy. I would totally wear this dress =)

Always love Cameron Diaz's outfits. This is just another one to add to my list. Taking old hollywood glmour to the modern day. She truly sparkles.

Anna sure has been popular on the best dressed list lately! Or at least I've thought so. I'm a huuggee fan of draping, and this dress made me drool. She's effing beautiful, and this pale pink against her skin is just so pretty. Very.. ethereal?

What I Wish I Was Wearing...

The only thing I miss about high school? Getting up every morning and creating the perfect outfit (even if it consisted of sweats).
